Claiming to be carphone warehouse, asking what sort of phone I have whether it is an iphone or a samsung and would I like the latest model. when I said I don't know what sort of phone I have, they hung up.

Totalglaze phone me three times a day and have done for 2 weeks. They usually try from a withheld number but have just now started to phone from the above number. I don't know what sort of company they are, but any company that needs to aggressively chase down leads in such an antisocial manner will never get my money. I imagine they are going after the elderly or vulnerable. Steer clear.
Automated call Fraud. Recorded message supposedly from Visa to say credit card has been used at two separate places. Then went on with "press 1 to report", at which time I hung up.

They are a telecoms company and I have an 0800 number with them. This number is to call from your mobile, although I know that 0800 s are also free now from mobiles. Therefore I doubt the above comment on Home Office is correct (or perhaps very old). A trustworthy company.
