This number is clearly a scam stating taxes are owed & legal proceedings will be started. 1. The terminology (& robotic voice) is American. 2. HMRC will never phone you. They will message you to go to your on-line account.
They called regarding a motorcycle I was trying to sell to them online. They increased the offer marginally and came and bought the bike with no hassle, happy days!

I don t even remember when they started but it has got to the point now where I don t answer any calls on either my landline or mobile unless I know who is calling.
