This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

I don t even remember when they started but it has got to the point now where I don t answer any calls on either my landline or mobile unless I know who is calling. Halifax bank confirmation call for home banking. It s an autamated call for security.

Phoned at 13.20 29 April purporting to be from Halifax Fraud department stating there had been suspect activity on my account and requesting various card details in order to cancel the transactions. I called the Halifax Fraud number and cancelled my card.
