I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Irish lad said he was calling about my frozen pension. i played along and made up stuff about a fictitious pension which he VERIFIED. When said I was just digging out the file to get the pension reference number he hung up, l am a pension administrator so can baffle them with terminology. Proves these calls are a scam.

When I picked up the phone I could hear a recorded voice gabbling on about pensions. It was the same as I got last week on a different number. It was also the second nuisance call in one morning. I was trying to get ready for an appointment.
Amazon scam. Said that I was paying a subscription of £39.99 did I wish to cancel it. (I don't have any subscriptions to amazon)

SCAM I have had three calls from this number today, and at least that number over the last few weeks. It purports to be from amazon, and opens by congratulating me on my amazon purchase. It goes on to say " if you did not make this purchase.......". I cannot say what the remainder of the message is, because at that juncture I terminate the call. The offending number is 07388730907; it is registered in the Russian Federation, and I can think only that it is an attempted scam.
