This was a pre-recorded message telling me that my account ( no mention of account details ) had two payments being attempted. Nothing to do with me, so I suggest you flag this as probable scam attempt!

SCAM Cold call from John of the equity team claimed changes to equity release scheme, wanted to ask me questions to see if I was eligible 'phishing' said I wasn't interested, he said I didn't need to be at this stage I then said he had cold called and it was illegal he said that wasn't right. I repeated he was a cold caller and I wasn't interested. He remained polite but realised he was getting nowhere. I withheld my number and rang 01970607568, it rang, then automated voice, number not accepting calls.
Fraud A recorded message (sounded like a cartoon robot) - said that HMRC would be seeking to obtain a warrant to arrest me if I didn't immediately press 1 to make contact with them.... Puhleeese!!!!

SPAM Having multiple calls from the above number and 4 others with a variation in the last four digits. No messages are left. I am now up to 14 calls in past two days. Listed a Spam due to the multiple calls in duch a short period and no messages left. Phone number including all last 4 digit variations all Blocked.
Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.

Monday May 8 Call from this number stating they were ringing from microsoft. This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone. Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

Answered once - told him I’m not the property owner and he hung up. Just answered - told him I’d already spoken to him and he just said “nice talking to you” and hung up.

01726852670 called at 10.31 stating they were bank security. I know its a scam. As I keep getting these calls saying I have spent £300 on amazon and over £1000 on an international transaction.It is a local number for me. These people need stopping .
