Scam company claiming to be a govt dept called the Meter Registration Dept, calling local businesses in an effort to con them into switching to expensivs suppliers. They use local telephone numbers but are not locally based and we have reported them to Trading Standards and the ICO on several occasions.
SCAM / SPAM Phoned me twice in last week saying its the HMRC and that I am the subject of a tax fraud case. Told me to respond or risk prosecution.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case this range of numbers - 020302615xx - is mostly reported in connection with accident chasers - insurance marketing, Have you had a car accident... Block it.
