Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. SCAM Asian called John. Calling about an accident. Informed him not had an accident so he could P off.
A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.
I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

there appears to be a large number of calls from the 0161 728 xxxx area, they all seem to be scams of one kind or another you should be very careful if you receive one. be on your guard.
SCAM. I have listed this number as scam because the loction pic is the same as several calls I have had from that area. They never leave a message and kill the call as soon as the answer message starts. Any genuine caller would start to leave a message in my view.
