Could be fake! Lady with an Indian (call centre?) accent called me in Germany, insisted on getting access to my computer to block "somethng" (named the reason "online hackers"). She tried to get access to my computer to microsoft products (she was talking about Microsoft several times; could not figure out if it related to MS Office or Windows itself). Stopped the moment (she) realized that I was sitting at a Mac. Be careful!

The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. They don t even ask if I want to advertise. Despite referring this to their complaint department they still continue to bombard me with calls. This is now harassment

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Boy, did I laugh especially when I said "Like the one your giving me now!" I got two calls from this Number on my my landline in Switzerland. As I do not know anybody with such a No. I did not take the calls. It might be a call center in Bournemouth or a scam. Since there are so many scams now, please check this Number and who is behind it. Thank you.
