I've been called 2 days in a row. Says it's a nameless bank concerned about 2 charges on my bank card. One for £300 and one for £3000. The number is not recognized when rung back. This is a scam. Please be careful and do not give any information.

Allegedly Amazon calling, automated message about a charge for Amazon Prime, like so many similar calls before. I simply hung up.

SCAM - an american lady recording purporting to be from HMRC. I cut the call after 4 words.

This No. is used by Community Call Prevention - a company that claims to reduce unwanted calls. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. They say, each time, that the previous operator didn't action the request properly and promise it is fixed now...

Fraud recording only. claiming that you have a pending case from HMRC and are investigating your financial activity. It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

Said they were calling about my health care and asked if I had taken all the flu jabs. Scam

This is providing HMRC scams within the United Kingdom, saying that a person has been registered for tax fraud and will be sued or things of that nature. If you receive this call, DO NOT speak to them, hang up the phone!

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.

This company reported to be Heating Services, claims to act on behalf of British Gas Homecare and deals with all their support services. They rang to say they are reducing the cost of my homecare cover and including plumbing and electricity repairs. All I need to do is amend my Direct Debit. This is a company scamming customers as they had all me details.

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.
