On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?

My phone showed me that is a spam suspicious call, so I didn't answer it; blocked!
Male on this number rattled off who he was too quick to understand who he was representing. Then with quite assertiveness started to ask me personal questions about my property. I refused to answer any of his questions and phone was disconnected.

I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.

This number 33975819984 called yesterday. Number belongs to scammers, message claimed money had been transferred from account to foreign country. Treat as Dangerous / Scam. Number comes up on phone as coming from France. A second number 33759286792 rang today & hung up immediately when i answered, also came up as France & approx 24 hours from other scam call.

We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.
