A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. SCAM - from the fraud squad, national crime agency. my national insurance number is being used to launder money. prompted to press 1 to speak to an agency officer. just hung up and left.
Silent calls are made once or twice daily. My answer-phone states "the caller has cleared", and normally the number is withheld, but not on this and a previous occasion. The pattern of the calls makes me think it is the same caller, [for many months]. The TPS advise it may be silent or abandoned calls,or recorded calls.
