Claim to be form Financial Services Authority and there is a frozen account in my name, a bitcoin account. Want to transfer funds back to me and close the account. I haven't invested in bitcoin so told them to trace where money came from and pay it back to that account. So obvious that it is a scam to get your bank details.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.
