Just received a text from this number that began 'Morning Mum...' (I'm not a Mum!) and the text said that they are calling from a friends phone and their battery is about to expire so please call them back. There is no name of either the sender or the friend or the reason why they are calling so I suspect it's a scam. Please be cautious if you receive this message

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. I phoned this number back, and get through to an automated message saying that if I wish to speak to their customer service centre - then please phone another number (I didn’t bother writing it down)… No identifying company name of ID was given…

Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. And thirdly, the message came through at 00.16 am….!! I don’t know of any post office employee who would be calling or trying to deliver a parcel at just gone midnight…! SCAM
Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.
SCAM - number given in a text (from +44 7739741163) supposedly from Lloyds Bank, asking recipient to contact 01332556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. However, the recipient has no account with LLoyds!
