we paid for goods that never came even though they promised they would. Then they stopped answereing the phone - a scam company !!!!
Claiming to be from Amazon asking whether I wanted to cancel or continue a subscription. Could only provide me with the initial and surname. Couldn't tell me the name of the initial. i.e. J. Brown, but couldn't tell me what the 'J' stood for. Indian accent, obvious scam.
She did say who the company was, but I can t remember what it was. Anyway, her system showed I d been in a non-fault road accident in the last few years (stop me if you ve heard this one before). I stopped her here and said it was nonsense, and she sounded ...tired, fed-up? as she said OK.

I got a call from this number in past and blocked it they tried ringing me again just now but thanks to call blocking on my phone they couldn't connect

A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.

SCAM - told me someone had purchased an IPHONE 7 on my Amazon account, it was for £300 odd pounds, did I want help recovering the money or want the phone delivered. Lady with a very heavy Indian accent, didn't say if she was calling from Amazon or the Bank, but she could help stop the delivery and get my money back if I followed these steps. Call terminated.

Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.
I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me. I'm in West Yorkshire and this is one of the increasing landline robo calls, originating from the south of England, I've been receiving in November 2020. Where it rings, there's no one there if I answer and if it goes to voice message, no message is left. Each time this happens I add the number to my phones blacklist so it's blocked if they try again. BUT this one is unusual because the call came from 01633 856923, but empty message left was from 01003 487792.
