This caller left an automated recorded scam message saying "your card has been charged with two payments" and asking me to press for for assistance. BEWARE if you receive similar calls.
This is a local telephone number for the area I live but was a scam automated call purporting to be from Amazon saying my Amazon Prime has expired and they have withdrawn £95 from my bank for another year's contribution. I don't use Amazon and nothing has been withdrawn from my bank. The caller asked me to press a key on my phone for further information which I did not do. I have not tried to ring the caller's number in case it connects me to a premium line.

Someone who sounded asian rather than Armenian called and asked me to go to her website. There was so much background noise (usual noisy room full of scammers) I was unable to hear what she was saying except she asked if I bought and sold stocks and shares which I do. I told her I had never heard of her and trusted no one who cold calls me to sell me something. She said she had not told me what she was selling. I suggested she sent me an email as she claimed she knew all my details and hung up.

A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.
