Phone call (pre-recorded message )from "Bank Security Department" about 2 charges "earlier today". I put the phone down. Obvious scam.
It was an automatic message saying there was an attempt of £900 payment with my Visa Card… This looks suspicious for me as someone tried to take a fake payment with my Visa card a few months ago but a real person from my bank called me, not a robot!

Said he was my energy representative for my area postcode. I asked who he worked for, and after a pause long enough for it to be clear he wasn't going to answer, he continued with his script. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!

SCAMwas phoned by this number at 1.17 pm today. it was a recorded message stating that my Amazon Prime account was about to --at this point i hung up. I rang the number, it was a gentleman who hadn't a clue what was going on and clearly, his number appears to have been taken over without his knowledge. He thanks me saying he will contact his phone provider to sort it out.

This call is from Southend on Sea Council so genuine not scam.
It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.
Received this morning on my mobile. A female voice, probably recorded said "I have been told that you were involved in an accident recently, is that right?" Obviously this a phishing call. Best to ignore and hang up.
Call center wanted to chat about my life insurance policy, I dont have one , polite enough though .

Getting fed up with this number calling us. Obviously some sort of Asian call center using a UK phone number as a relay. Callers are abrupt and rude when asked politely for name and reason for call. Callers offering mild threats if we do not listen and hangs up after a while. Added to our black list but number keeps changing slightly.

I called this Scam number from a letter send by a company call Rothesay and Experian. A man answered and put me through to a woman who started asking me a lot if personal questions. I discovered she was located in South Africa. I then realized it was a SCAM.

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. I didn't recognise the whole number but knew the local code so I answered. It's Rapid Entry Rescue phoning me after one of their guys actually got me in my cat after I locked the keys inside!
