Caller hung up before I could answer.
Rang me and checked my name and the proceeded to tell me he wanted to talk to me about my computer I told him I suspected he was trying to defraud me and put the phone down.
Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.

I've had two missed calls from this local phone number, but they don't bother to leave a message & when I phone back it is an automated message that let's me know that nobody will answer and I can't leave a message. If you don't warn someone you're going to phone, they're not going to answer. My only guess is that it's someone from the council or Severn Trent possibly.

They said they were from Amazon and I had a £900 transaction taken from my account he asked me to follow his instructions ( I did know it was a scam) I told him ok he said to put him on loud speaker and he was going to give me a 9 digit code to enter into my phone, I asked him if he could call me back in 10 minutes when my daughter is home as she works for the police he suddenly hung up. 64057 is the number to text to STOP reciving messages from We Buy Any Car.com On my network, O2 this is rated as a premium rate number/service so I was charged 13p to opt out. I dont know if other mobile providers recognise this number as a premium rate number or not. WBAC stated that they operate this as a free service and the cost charged is from O2 in my instance. I know its not a biggie - but strange to be charged.
