Fraud - message left by them was read by a computerised male American voice that said I had to call the local city hall urgently. Not sure why. However phone number is very similar to (0)20 3991 2845 which is a Fraud HMRC call.

It sounded like a very busy call centre. The woman sounded English. She asked for Mr Kiren. I misunderstood the name a bit at the start and said twice that Karen or no Mr is here. She finally hung up. I have no idea who called me and I did not want to answer her who I am. I thought it might be scam or similar. I blocked the number.

Call Centre - some asian guy who could hardly speak english clearly reckons he was calling from carphone warehouse. Still persisted in selling me a contract even though I said i'd only recently signed up for an 18 month contract. Put the phone down on him and blocked number

Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. SCAM not Not answer as it then programs your number into the system and you will get charged every time they call you. I have bloced the number as I called it from a prepaid sim card that I keep in an old phone for just this purpose. It is a phone number verification call.

Known scam, automated voice says they're calling from HMRC, and if I don't press 1 I'll be arrested shortly for tax fraud... Ended the call.
