I let him talk for a bit before asking for his company's Financial Conduct Authority registration number at which point he got very nervous and said "once you have agreed to go ahead, we have people that can provide you with information." I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).
