Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

Calls are reputedly from Verizon Global in Reading trying to solicit insurance claim-related business. Just rang off after a few seconds!

This number is indeed Eon. Very polite message left on ansphone. No return calls to that number - they left the 0345 customer service number in message to ring back.

I have had about a call a day from these people. Have now managed to put them onto caller barred on my phone. I told them I was on TPS, but they told me as they were not selling me anything that didn t matter. This is now getting towards being harassment.7y327

This number has just rung me when I answered there was no one there despite me answering on the second ring. I have got no idea who this is but Despite being registered with TPS we are still getting lots of unsolicited calls who when we answer there is no one there. There should be something which can be done to stop this

Got call re having an accident/medical negligence case. Since haven t had either, call is Cold-call and I am TPS registered. Won t anybody get these calls banned? Should we start an online petition to No 10?
