This number called and then hug up on me when I answered. I called back and they didn't answer so called off a different number and a fella answered. Scammers?

The number will ring you and cancel the call before you can pick up, if you call back it will fail, most likely using a number spoofer.
Silent call - "Hello", then silence when asked who was calling....then phone put down. Unanswered call earlier, so they could be persistent in tracking live no's - for whatever their purpose. Did sound briefly like a live human, not a recording. No human interaction though - just the harrassment.

As I am a Housing Rights Worker for Shelter, I am well aware of how to get repairs actioned. They went silent when I explained this. Don't use their scam 'services'- they are available elsewhere for free.

After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. SCAM The caller was a recording with a female voice with American/Canadian accent. She told me she was from security at my bank card (no account name or bank) and I had £10,000 taken from my account and £2000 by PayPal. If I was not aware of these transactions I should press button 1. This call is identical to many others I have received with the same voice but differing amounts. No bank card or account is ever identified. It is a Scam to get you to press button 1 and make your phone open to the scam
