This same number called me in the past three days- 17th 18th and 19th July - I can't call the number back( from 1741) - get a constant tone.

I m an ex police officer and I can tell you the company is legit, they called me and dealt with my mortgage and several loans I had years ago. They got me some money back and I was very happy with the service they provided. Excellent team of people. All hard working and lovely to speak to. Got ?6,000 back and I was very happy!! Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

Student accounts say that we owe money ... then they realised that they had the wrong Mark … so so rubbish!

They call me everyday 2 or 3 times, called back and got an automated answer that said press 1 to opt out of further calls. Opted out yesterday and been called 3 times today do far :-(

Just posted the comment above and would like to add that I have reported this matter to the Police and BT and want to urge people not to fall victim to this. The Police have investigated it and have said it is a scam. - Be warned.

Calling Sapphire on this number is a cost trap. You hold on for several minutes whilst an automated message chips on and on @ 15p a minute and then when it is answered and you state that you are chasing payment their standard response is that the cheque to settle the Voucher claim will be posted next Monday. This has happened to me on a total of 7 times now. I ve received 2 payments of £20 and £50 but I ve still not got back my £79.99 fee plus being charged around £15 in phones calls. This caller claims to be the PPI Team but is just another one of Mr Lee Paul Mellors companies. He holds 7 appointments at 7 active companies, has resigned from 4 companies and held 18 appointments at 18 dissolved companies. Clearly this looks odd!!! Just done some business with Reed Rains so this looks like another example of passing (or selling on) personal data. The Consumers Association (Which) are currently running a program to identify and stop these sort of calls. I ll add this one to their list
