received a call recorded message to claim PPI these people should be hanged for harressment
This number wrang me pretending to be HMRC...claiming my names been reported as tax fraud and i had to give them details yo sort it . I ended the call and immediately reported it to HMRC who confirmed it's a scam plus it was reported to my phone network . Please watch out for these scammer

Fraud - claim to be from national crime prevention agency. Calling regarding suspending national insurance account
SPAM: upon answering a recorded message played to state my NI number could be suspended due to my phone number having been associated with several illegal activities and I could be arrested and assets seized. The next prompt was to press 1 to speak to an officer. Needless to say I didn’t do anything of the sort and came straight here to report it!

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

Anyway it was a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying our broadband IP address had been hacked and would be switched off within 24 hours and to press 1 for more info. I ordered from Ideal World. Day after this calls, trying to sell things. I had three calls from them in one day. I ended up this morning after getting another call I was not the person they were asking for. Then asked them to remove my number and stop calling me.

It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. I then knew it was a scam as I don’t have a visa account.
Phoned continuously over a few weeks. Have barred the number now.
