SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going
