Automated call some sort of payment via card . Scam...
This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.

SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

I was called from this number by a woman asking to speak to somebody who wasn`t me. The name she asked for is the same as I`ve had on other scam calls. This is a dangerous number.
Banking scam. Fake recorded message saying unusual transactions have occured on your account and to press 1 or 2 to speak to an adviser. A bit of a stupid scam, because you simply check your banking app on the spot and see there's no pending transactions!

This number texted me over Whatsapp, apparently by accident. Shared some pics of an asian girl, stated she is from Singapore, living in Poland. Asked for pictures of myself, and was overly friendly. Refused to talk over video. So, yeah, many red flags.
Caller said she was from EE, asking me if I wanted 40% off my energy bills.
re-Correction - google brought me to the wrong page, I was reviewing +447418365494 and not 7418365460. Sorry. 7418365460 could well be a genuine caller, I didn't have any dealings with them, sorry for the confusion I've created, please ignore my previous entry. This person calls himself Advik Anup and pretends to be looking for a wife on matrimonial site.. will talk to you for a few days saying he's from London and is permanently shifting to India.. send you a fake ticket for his travel and then he'll call saying that he's stuck at the airport and his traveller's cheque is not valid or something and ask you make a payment.. when I confronted him, he deleted our entire chat and blocked me on whatsapp.. please beware

Text Message supposedly from NatWest regarding a payment attempt and giving a URL to verify the payment. Suffice to say I didn't!
An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.

Insurance scam cold call twice 12.12.2022 at 12:59 and 15:19. When asked what they were trying to sell me, they closed the call. On the second occassion when I asked where they had obtained my number, they closed the call. I've now blocked.

the number called, when I answered a recorded message advised there was suspicious activity on my account, press 1 to let the payments go through and press 2 to speak to customer service. I hung up! I recalled the number from another telephone and got through to Tesco mobile answerphone. FRAUD!

Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.
