SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.

I Had tried applying for a payday loan and stupidly put my phone number out there so now im being bombarded with calls from this number it called me 3 times before i answered spoke to an indian man who was very rude and stated "did u just hang up on me" to then him go through my details which he must of picked up from another site, said his senior financial accounts officer would call back. Had several calls that I let ring out. Only answered so they d stop calling. Guy, said he was a representative of EE offering me deals. Lot of noise in the background, he got interrupted by something chiming very loudly. Listened to his spiel and politely explained I wasn t interested and took it well, until I mentioned that I couldn t afford one of the products he was offering that I was actually interested in and he rather rudely told me I should get a better paid job. Prolific PPI junk message company who usually use 0844 numbers to delivery their junk voicemails, however they appear now to have changed their numbers to 0161 (Manchester) geographical ones. They also use 0161 265 0135 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LISTENING TO THESE SPAM MESSAGES!!!!!
SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.
