Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Was not suspicious as the gentleman was very polite and courteous at all times, however received two further calls today.
