Have been trying this number for two days and there is no response whatsoever. It seems impossible to speak to a person at Hermes...I’ve done the live chat, the question response on their website but nothing. My parcel arrived at the depot and hasn’t been heard of since.
Allegedly called gov.UK, said that I have to call back the number given by them, otherwise I will face serious consequences.

This sounds very dodgy from the start but I played along, chatting with a lady with a foreign accent. It's eventually got to the stage where she asked me for my bank account and sorting code, at which point I asked her a very personal question. She then swore at me and hung up. She had mentioned postcode lottery, and assured me that I had won a European holiday and £399 in cash at one point she said the company was called something like travel and leisure.

Been rang by this number several times this week, but they would not leave a message on my answer machine. They rang at 3pm today, so i answered the call. Was told they were Consumer helpline, and i was owed an over payment on a loan in 2011. Never had a loan. so they were phishing. Was told they had been given the wrong information.
