Kate from "Driveway Centre" phone out of the blue. I asked her who she was & why she was phoning me. She sounded agitated & asked me how old is my driveway. I told her I didn't understand why she was phoning & where did she obtain my number. She said my number has been sold on a list. I then hung up.

Called @ 14.25 on 06/02/2023. Asian/Indian voice claiming to be from 'Traffic Management Services'. Call is purporting to be able to help with an accident within the last 2 years. I haven't had an accident in over 15 years. Told caller to cancel the call for the above reason.

SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.

I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. SPAM, We have been researching insulation and similar, but have not asked to be put on any lists. Somewhere along the line we must have had details sold on/passed on, as we've had around 10 calls all from different, but similar numbers, including this one just now. Our phone is 'screened' by an automatic voce asking for the caller's name and NONE of them has done so, hanging up at that point. Very frustratig, keep blocking them, but another similar number rings a while later.....
Said they was citizens advice twice in the call and my application is being approved i asked what application as ive not applied for one. When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. So i asked him why he said something different, he posited he worked for this company. I said the company name doesn't make any sense. He then hung up the phone
