Asian guy named David,Asked for my mum as he was her grandson, giving 01619326141, to call him back. Asked what he was doing in Manchester(recognised dialling code)as i thought he lived in Liverpool. Told me he just moved. Kept him on phone for 5 mins before telling him that that would make him my son that i knew nothing about. Said that couldn t be possible, he then said why not was i impotent. At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.

They call 2 or 3 times a day, and when i answer, i always hear a conversation going on between the people in the office, then they go silent and hang up. I called back today and spoke to a sales agent Maurice James, who said he would remove my number from their account. Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.

I hate scam callers, surly it should not happen again, more should be done to stop them,

This number calls and claims to be investors. Very rude individuals who call and push you to invest and they are so rude when you decline. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!! If anyone has any idea how to stop them from calling please advise.
SCAM / SPAM - Alarm went off on a Windows 10 Laptop - multiple tone and could not be stopped.. With a message reporting to be from Microsoft, asking the laptop owner to not switch the laptop off. Laptop was being accessed by a external company. To call that number for help. Laptop cannot be restarted without alarm and message reappearing.
