Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! Safe number - Life Insurance broker. Did my insurance a while back. Called me to review a couple of years afterwards hence why I googles the number. They're a ligitamte firm and were excellent with me and the arrangements. Definitely not a scam or dodgy number.
Caller said he was from Openreach and my router had reported problems regarding internet speed. I pointed out that Openreach only supply and maintain local connection to the exchange not any service’s. Call was then cleared
This number contacted me this morning the 19th of January and said they were from bank security I checked with my bank to be told its a scam
Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.

Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.
I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. This website says it's an EE number but I don't get why they would say "Hi, there." with no reason of texting me, if anyone has any idea of who they might be, please tell me.

Indian lady with call centre background noise called, she said she was from carphone warehouse. And gave me a iphone 15 max deal with unlimited Internet and calls for £18. They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. 14th Feb 2024 at 1148 - Call claiming that our loft insulation was reaching the end of its warranty life (20 years) and they would like to inspect it - when I told the man that the house was not built 20 years ago and that we did not have a loft, the man rang off immediately.
Supposedly from '3' mobile phone company. Asian male with poor English, claiming to be from 3 promotions. Not the normal format for '3' especially as I've opted to be exempt from promotional calls on my 3 account. I've no idea how they got my number, but I'm 99.9% certain that it wasn't legitimate
