Originally said they were from Sky to improve broadband speed, clearly a scam trying to get you to download ransomware or similar software.
These people have called the last 4 days on mobile, today I have received 7 calls. Every hour basically, I ve tried calling back no one picks up, they are getting info on apparently ppi refunds. They want all your details. Please do not engage these people or pick up the phone as they are waiting for confirmation the phone is active.

Ignore mails or calls claiming that you?re entitled to a refund on overpaid bank charges. SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.
