This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Scam number trying to get details from people after sending a fraudulent PayPal money request. They get your phone number at least which they can connect to the phone number you call them on and your name which enables them to clone your identity.

Missed call from 01233 543545. Was expecting call so rang it back. The woman who answered had such a thick Indian accent that I could only understand the words "gas supplier". I ended the call.
I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Text Message, someone claiming to be "Annie from Korea" having my phone number in the address book. Never met anyone going by that name, I don't know anyone from Korea and has gone silent once I asked for proof of who they claim to be. Possibly a scam.
No idea who called. I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer. Caller's number apparently located in Newport, South Wales and no reason for anyone from that location to call me.
