How this has been given a safe rating is beyond me!! Claim they are from O2 and send a code and then ask for it. They will then proceed to send you a phone by mistake and ring you back in a panic and say they sent it to you by mistake and can you send it back to them. Just hang up!!
Caller fraudulently advised he was from my bank, wanting my security details, which I declined to give. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Hung up, and phoned my bank, who advised it was an attempt to steal my card details. Beware, never give out details unless you have made the call to a verified number.Fraud

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

Shame they didn't have any other contract options for me from my account (NEVER DID, EVER - month in month out year in year out). I had to leave to get their attention, chronic customer service and I think illegal given, from OfComms rules. Always a Blant - "HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING YOUR DETAILS / SYSTEM NOT REPSONDING ETC ETC"

Called today at 11:38 Electronic message to say that I’ve not renewed my Amazon Prime subscription and they’ve deducted £96 from my account. If this is incorrect press 1 Dadidadida…… Hung up.
