This phone number is a scam, recording initially saying funds gone from your bank to pay Amazon £500 and also £700 to someone else. Select 2 to talk to someone, sounds like a call centre with an American with a strong accent. They queried my birth date and rang off. Beware a scam.

I have been called twice in two days from “Cladding Companies” both from a Bishop Aukland number? I don’t answer unsolicited calls, I google. In addition I live miles from Bishop Aukland. Blocked the first yesterday and was called on this number today? This one is also blocked …It’s got to be scammers getting creative, because I have no need or connection to require ‘cladding.’
This number rang me on the 16th Feb. I have never had a call from this number before, to my recollection, and don't know who it is.

My number is telephone preference system (TPS) and therefore this company - or any others like it - should not be calling - this was a 'fishing' call. Callers' name was 'Joe' - male, said he was 'an energy advisor'. End of call. Don't call again, Joe, you might get my husband next time and he is nowhere near as polite as I am.

Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. 14th Feb 2024 at 1148 - Call claiming that our loft insulation was reaching the end of its warranty life (20 years) and they would like to inspect it - when I told the man that the house was not built 20 years ago and that we did not have a loft, the man rang off immediately.

A company calling themselves "Housing Disrepair Management" falsely claiming I reported a problem to a housing association and trying to get details from me, despite the fact that they couldn't tell me my name or where I lived. They hung up when I repeatedly asked for more details about how they got my number.
