15/01/21 Received automated call using american accent claiming to be from Revenue and Customs. I do not believe however that this was legitimate revenue and customs because they would have sent a letter detailing any taxes that were due in order to release any packages i had imported. Also the call would not have had the threatening tone that it developed at the end where it advised me to ready my legal team for further action, had I not returned the call. i have blocked the number

this number has called several times saying they are from british gas accounts, I told an asian sounding guy I wasn twith British gas so he kept asking who my supplier wa, I told him I wasn t prepared to give him that information and hung up. I had already checked this number and contacted my supplier(British gas lite) who assured me my account is an online product and under no circumstances would they phone me.

Checked the number that he called from. Local? Oh, then why are you calling me on behalf of an organisation that's apparently based in a town 200 miles away? Pure spam. They've called me before. SCAM Said they are a credit agent trying to recover an outstanding student loan. Told her I never had a student loan as I didn’t go to university, I went straight into full time employment when I left school. She then got aggressive demanding I pay now or else. So I said I’m handing your number to the police and I have recorded the conversation. Then she swore for a few seconds then hung up.
