This number has called my mobile 3 times today and on each occasion it hung up after 2 rings. I checked it out on Internet before calling back and lo, its a bloody scam selling something I don t want - so I haven t called them back.

This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. They need debt advice themselves as their Directors are in debt up to their eyeballs! at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.

My parents, both in their 80 s, have been receiving calls from this number. Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. Since neither of them are in great physical form, it is extremely worrying that these nuisance calls are causing them great discomfort. What can be done about it?
