Picked up the phone and an Asian-sounding gentleman answered. He said he wasn t conducting a survey, but just wanted to ask a few questions. Q1) Who provides your television service? Still sounded like a survey to me, so I politely declined and put the phone down.

The woman told me she was from a Talk Talk department and was calling about my router. After making her repeat the same thing several times I told her I had had the same or similar calls about 150 times, knew she was nothing but a criminal and.....by that time she had rung off! As usual, the number she had used for the call was as fictitious as her story. The crooks use different invented numbers each time.

Judging by the comments on here already I figured this is some unwanted caller. Tried to ring me earlier - have now blocked their number.

Calling practically every other day and I'm very annoyed as have registered to stop this type of phone harrisment

I got a missed call on my home phone from 020 7394 9231, when I rang back the person (he spoke with a foreign accent) said they had mad no phone calls that day from that number....

It seems these companies are only doing there targets, As the customer says yes (with OVR function) they just deduct the amount from your account Debit/Credit Card. The biggest fool part is that they are not with there words and for this they have to pay now. At this point when you want to talk again to them and call on those numbers it says number u dialed is not valid . It sucks now what to do i am really irritated. Said they were phoning from Virgin Media. I was suspicious so hung up and phoned Virgin Media who said it was a scam they wanted me to open a screen sharing app.

appreciate the guy is doing what he has been told to do suspect these calls creep up due to holidays and students taking this type of call work
