She never called back. She will continue to look for gullible people. Sadly there are many of those. Her next victim may be a pensioner & easy prey

Loft insulation cold call, claimed that they were local - Cardiff is over 100 miles away. Left what appears to be a recorded message.
They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.

Someone wants to know where you are and that it is you answering the phone. That is why you get these calls several times daily even if you have told you are not interested.

This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.
