Call center Automated call claiming I had suspicious activity on my bank account but went to an agent claiming they were from the FCA. The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.

Safe number - NHS - NHS Business Services Authority - legit organisation who deal with a few things, including EHICs, NHS pensions, exemption from health charges (prescriptions, dental, optical and travel for medical treatments) etc. Definitely answer!

Called "as if" from a Goverment organisation saying national concern over fibreglass having been used as loft insulation, and could I confirm we had that kind of insulation. I asked her to confirm which company she was from and she hung up!

Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.
