Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!

SCAM 01967 401277 ranf 2 days in a row at around 10am. No one answers, but you can here something going on in the background, like in the call centres atht have multiple hones on dial at once. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Possible HMRC scam.

Indian accent with British name stating he is calling from O2, then said he noticed I'm not O2 and asked how much I pay and said that he could give me a £6 per month deal. Then I said I'm on Pay as you go and only top-up £5 per year he called me a fool, said I was making him a fool and asked if I'm on my father or mother's company. Insurance This number is apparently from a Company called "Review your Policy" - I have been registered for many years with the TPS register which I understand telemarketing are obliged to check every 30 days to ensure the numbers they are ringing are not on this register - the young lady calling was not interested in engaging or apologising for unwanted call.

Have I asked you for your bank account or for money... NO!!" I was very angry and gave him some nice new words to look up. There is no way he was a specialist from Microsoft!
