Missed several calls from this number. But was a person asking about council or housing association disrepair team. Not under these organisations. Therefore put phone down Spam or scam.
This number called & said they were a bank & they had noticed 2 large amounts had been taken out of my account & to press 1 to speak to someone. I just put the phone down
SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

Cold call. Chris. Friendly but persistent for a free survey for loft insulation saying the insulation we have could cause condensation and damp. Declined their invitation, looked online to find the number was from Reading, then at "Wokingham Borough Council News." to find "WARNINGS OF LOFT INSULATION SCAMMERS".
Received a call from this number today at 9:15am and the line was silent then the call ended.

I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

Whatsapp message accidentally sent from.a young lady who pretty much fell in love with me within a few messages despite the 38 year age difference - she asked me to.contact her on her private number which appears to be a UK mobile but is actually a landline to Russia - I guessed fairly quickly that it was a scam ...SCAM
This is a local telephone number for the area I live but was a scam automated call purporting to be from Amazon saying my Amazon Prime has expired and they have withdrawn £95 from my bank for another year's contribution. I don't use Amazon and nothing has been withdrawn from my bank. The caller asked me to press a key on my phone for further information which I did not do. I have not tried to ring the caller's number in case it connects me to a premium line.

texted me to say a new device had been linked to my bank account and included a link to check my online bank account.
I have received pornographic, harassing videos and pictures aimed at myself as well as sexually explicit messages from this number. This person is a stalker and I believe they may have links to India. They go quiet for a few months after I block them, a new number pops up. I need to leave this here in case anyone else is experiencing this. It has been reported to British authorities. IP is probably being bounced.

SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.
