I was called from this number by a woman asking to speak to somebody who wasn`t me. The name she asked for is the same as I`ve had on other scam calls. This is a dangerous number.

Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. One minute later on 07703290831 they rang back and started to be very abusive saying that I should not have hang-up on them. Both numbers have been blocked.
This phone number dialled me 10:03am and I phoned him back now and he said no I never called that number in a sluggish grumpy voice like that guy that says “computer says no”

SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.
