28 Nov. 2022 (17:33) a chap with Indian accent called me claiming to be from BT to say that my computer may have been compromised and that he could check that for me if I switched it on and he ran a quick check. Complete nonsense of course and an attempted scam. He said he was calling from London but the area code is Falkirk (Scotland).

Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.

Calling on multiple numbers and trying to force him to invest in some scene which he has refused but they won’t take no for an answer, even when he told them he was going to report them they took no note. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers.
