Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.

Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.

I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. SCAM NHL - ? What did these letters even stand for? Leicester regarding a hospital appointment which I dont have. I don't live in that area either and they ask you to call back to cancel the appointment if its wrong..this is a cell number not an official NHS number.
