Indian scammers again! Robo message "Bank Security regarding 2 charges this morning, one to Amazon for 800 and one to an overseas transfer for 1100..." Pressing 2 got an indian man who got really shitty with mew and hung up when he said "Thankl you for calling..." and I told him he had called me.

I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer but they didn't leave any message on my answerphone. As it was a number local to me I called it back but BT said the number wasn't recognised so looks like a scammer
Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.
Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. Caller said they were from NHS asking me to confirm some details and to ask if I was keeping an upcoming appointment. A verified NHS number (0800 678 3393) also called me yesterday with an automated machine asking me to confirm my appointment. When I said this to today's caller they said that there was a problem with their system and they needed to call again. Their tone sounded genuine. I will update this message if I find out otherwise.
