Often early in the morning and in close succession, there is silence, giggling, but no communication - very disconcerting for them. SCAM - Alleging to be from BT and said I hadn't paid my Broadband Bill - I'm not even with BT.
I received a call from this number at 16:55 to tell me that the government owed me over ?4k I gave no bank details and when I asked what company they were calling from I was told it was a dept of the UK Government. I was also given ref no.RB51. I was told to call back in 5 mins to speak to a manager who would explain further and send me my cheque. If it was the UK Government surely they would write to people!!!
