Asked about a car accident - haven't has one so must be purely speculative. Claimed to be 'First Source Contact' but wouldn't engage in any further enquiry.
I keep getting calls from 0179211844/5/6/7 & concidentally I am on o2 as well. When I called back got recorded message stating that it was a marketing call, not to worry & they or may not call me back....hopefully NOT!
Just done some business with Reed Rains so this looks like another example of passing (or selling on) personal data. The Consumers Association (Which) are currently running a program to identify and stop these sort of calls. I ll add this one to their list
Foreign sounding person claiming to be from BT Technical department. A lot of background noise made the call very suspicious, so I put the phone down

Fraud - message left by them was read by a computerised male American voice that said I had to call the local city hall urgently. Not sure why. However phone number is very similar to (0)20 3991 2845 which is a Fraud HMRC call.

Telemarketing 01156975434 rang today similar number to the one I blocked the other day 01156975438 I read the other day it was Nottingham hospice lottery. I don't know how they got my number. Blocked. They only ring for 13 seconds not even enough time to answer if I was going to answer.
They say there from the call blocking service but they are not as I checked it with the call blocking service another scammer who wants your card details.

15/01/21 Received automated call using american accent claiming to be from Revenue and Customs. I do not believe however that this was legitimate revenue and customs because they would have sent a letter detailing any taxes that were due in order to release any packages i had imported. Also the call would not have had the threatening tone that it developed at the end where it advised me to ready my legal team for further action, had I not returned the call. i have blocked the number
