SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Stopped the call, turned laptop on & off, messages disappeared. Call rec'd from 01158881064
SCAM and fraud. Tried to scam my 86 year old aunt out of her life savings.
SCAM- Called saying my national insurance has been susupeded due to criminal activity... then hung up when i spoke.

Claimed to be from Aviva, asking about life insurance. Asked who my provider was, told him I don t know, he hung up. Clearly fake
SCAM- said I had been in a road traffic accident when I asked where they had got my details from they asked me to wait and someone else came on the phone. They told me the same. I asked where they had got this information from and they asked my why I needed to know. They refused to tell me and when I asked what details they held about me they put the phone down. Cold calling/scam!

Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. I ended the call.
Rang twice, hung up quickly, rang back and got some horrible air port lounge musik. One to avoid I suspect!
I have had three calls today all hang ups why would BT do this. My husband is seriously and I have to pick up on every call

Rings every morning around 10am. Does not stay long enough to answer
Caller said they were from O2 said I had applied for a free Sim card on line. I haven t, told her she was not from O2 and to remove me from the mailing list they had obviously bought from somewhere. Sick of these nuisance calls. Number is now blocked.

"Sharon" from the "Citizens Advisory Service" just called me and informed me of some alleged unsecured loans that I need help with!?!?!? When I told her this was untrue and she shouldn t be looking at my financial information, she shouted "shut up. shut up!" down the phone and hung up. I d say that was pretty dodgy wouldn t you?
