I was called from this number, claiming there is something wrong with my internet connection and saying that if I didn't answer his questions he would cut me off from BT who he said is providing my access. Very insistent, wouldn't give me details how he came to have my number but didn't know my name! Yes, ridiculous but maybe someone else would believe him. I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).
